Our little family has grown over the years. What started out as me and Govin winging it, has now become a great team of locals and a couple of Aussies. We are excited to meet more of you. Everyone who travels with us, becomes part of our family.
KATE HANSSEN
Chief Tour organiser
Kates passion for Nepal, its people, the culture and the land is overflowing and it shows in how much personal effort she puts into making sure the experiences that Reconnection Tours delivers meets guests expectations. Kate has a background in Travel, Social Services and Wellness Most recently turning her attention to
Ayurveda studies and Yoga.
Kate works in the Travel Industry and can book all of your travel needs, from designing tours to booking flights and everything in between.
GOVINDA BOHARA
Trekking Guru of Nepal and soon the world.
Govin was born and bred in the mountains of Nepal in an area called Baglung about 12 hours drive from Kathmandu. Govins uncle exposed him to the tourism and trekking industry in Nepal when he was just 19 years old. Govin has been working in the field ever since with a Management degree and now a qualified Australian Chef. Govin is a natural leader and his passion for his country and its culture is evident in his storytelling and energy.

Kamal (Govins brother) and our expert on the ground. Kamal makes sure all operations run smoothly, he is the back bone of our treks. He has that calming energy that is always a constant and will bend over backwards to make sure our guests are comfortable.
JACKSON BRILLI

Jackson is a passionate Photographer who enjoys sharing this with others. Jack arranges photography focused tours and can be hired to follow you on your trip and digitally document it.
He knows how to capture Nepal and her best angles to ensure your memories are treasured pieces of art.

Outdoor Ed/Tour Guide/Support
Max fell in love with Nepal and all things outdoor 8 years ago on his first trip to Nepal. Since then he has learnt Paragliding, outdoor wilderness skills and Shiatsu. He has a keen desire to continue adding to his toolbox and in between spends time trekking and guiding with us. Max recently married a local Nepalese woman Rosni ( the daughter of our Driver Raju) so yes our family is growing. Max is a great asset to our team.
RAJU NEPALI
Jeep Driver extraordinaire of Nepal
Everyone loves Raju, he is our number 1 driver in Nepal and looks after our guests like royalty. Do not worry though all our drivers are as lovely as Raju. Raju supports his family with his jeep driving and they reside in Pokhara. Raju's son has special needs and he relies on tourism to support his sons schooling costs. Raju has an amazing outlook on life always has a smile and a can do attitude. Raja's famous for saying "No Problem" and that is exactly the vibe he gives off all day long.
