Jackson's Story
In 2017, a trek in Nepal transformed my life. After hearing my mother’s captivating stories, I joined my brother on a journey organised by my family. Riding motorbikes through Nepal’s stunning landscapes reignited my passion for travel and photography. Meeting a fellow photographer turned my casual hobby into an obsession.
Upon returning to Australia, life’s demands pushed my passions aside. But in 2019, an opportunity to be a photographer for a real estate agency reignited my love for the craft. Despite challenges, including the agency's closure, I invested in myself, bought the necessary gear, and eventually took over a photography business.
A break was needed, and Nepal called me back. I spent five transformative months there, exploring and photographing at my own pace. Riding through the Mustang region with my girlfriend, reignited my creative spark and deepened my connection to the land.
Now partnering with Reconnection Tours, I’m thrilled to offer photography tours in Nepal, designed to immerse you in the country’s spiritual and cultural depths.
